The following is a list of web links and
resources for fun things to do while in town. |
|
 |
We list these fun here
because if you are visiting from out of town and you want to spend 1-2 hours
here, your loved ones may not. It is helpful for clients to either come
alone or with another music lover. We have found that our
clients can more leisurely enjoy their
visits here if they do not have friends or family members "waiting" for them.
(send them off for downtown shopping, spa massage, or wine tasting!) You
may also want to build a whole weekend in the area around your visit with us.
These places are based upon our own experience while
visiting them ourselves. Your experience may be different so we assume no
liability for your fun factor!
Paso Robles has come into its own with lots of wine tasting,
antique & gift shops, ballooning, concerts, spa services, and fine dining.

| www.SanLuisObispoCounty.com is a great resource countywide for current fun things to do
county wide. It includes festivals, concerts, art shows, and shopping. It also has a map showing
all the wineries. Check out
www.wineriesofpasorobles.com
for a comprehensive overlook of what is available. Also, check out
www.visitpasoroblesca.com which
is maintained by the good folks at the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce.
Our favorite local restaurants include:

We enjoy heading west of Paso Robles and getting lost on a leisurely drive in
the countryside. Don't worry, eventually you make it back to Highway 46, 101, or 1 and
with the help of a map you can get oriented to civilization again. A tour of Hearst Castle is always an adventure in opulence. Food in the Visitors'
Center is minimal, marginal, and overpriced. Their website is
