first fell in love with the prototype in January at the NAMM show and
promptly ordered one of these limited editions. Check out the flamed Maple
on its top and back! This is a true hollowbody guitar, NOT the usual semi-hollowbody
type that has a block of wood running completely up through the center of
the guitar. On the SC-J the only wood, besides the sides, that touches the
top and the back is the support block under the bridge. This design allows
the instrument much more volume and tone than any semi-hollowbody guitar."
